MAGNUM H2S GAS DETECTOR
The Magnum H2S Gas Detector is an intelligent industrial gas detector designed for safe continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulfide vapors in the 0-100ppm (parts per million) range. Triple Electrode Methanol Restive Electrochemical sensors are standard. These units feature the latest advanced microprocessor technology providing reliable, fast, accurate and continuous monitoring of H2S gases in the most extreme hazardous environments.
The Controller/Display features a highly visible bright red alpha numeric “8” character LED display that indicates alarm and status in all light conditions. Detector health and configuration are communicated clearly with full scrolling text messages. Resetting alarms and system configuration is achieved non-intrusively by a magnetically activated Reed Switch or a Push Button located on the display.
The rugged explosion proof Magnum Series has been thoroughly tested and is performance certified to military temperature specifications for both Division and Zones. All associated electronic circuit boards have been additionally certified Class I, Div2/Zone2, maintaining hazardous area certification even with the enclosures covers removed.
Low power consumption is standard requiring as little as 1.2Watts to power these units and a wide voltage range 9 to 28Vdc, these detectors are suited to applications with either 24Vdc or 12Vdc power such as solar applications.
Optional relays are available and provide the ability to directly trigger shutdown conditions or signal audible or visual alarming devices. Two styles of relays are available; Mechanical (general purpose) or Solid State (for low powered applications such as solar).
